Who We Are

Brothers’ Painting Ltd is a Calgary based, registered corporation owned and operated by Ryan Matchullis and Brent Sellers.

Our personal and business goal is to use painting/coating to protect your property and to make it look the best it can. With a combined total of over 15 years in the painting industry (both application and sales), we have a vast knowledge of the appropriate products, surface preparation, and application methods to leave you with an amazing looking, long lasting job.

OK – so we aren’t really brothers, and we are not related in any way. But we are best friends. We have both lived in Toronto and Calgary, been roommates and schoolmates, been each others best men, and are currently an incredibly effective painting team.

A Little Bit About Us

Ryan – “I have been living happily in Calgary since 2003, when I moved here from Toronto. It was not long before I met and married the love of my life (Jamie, who often works with us) I have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and am currently in a Master’s program in Applied Psychology at the University of Calgary. Calgary is such a great city to live and work in because everything feels connected – I feel free to work in any quadrant and always meet hospitable, amazing people. Painting can be a chore for many; it’s a messy, tedious task that makes people frustrated. I however, love it. I enjoy putting the hard work in that always results in the transformation of a customer’s plan into their custom repaint.”

Brent – “In 2005 I also moved from Toronto to Calgary. I am currently working in youth ministry at a church here in Calgary, and painting part time as work allows. Calgary has become my home, and the city is amazing. There are so many great things to do and see, and there is such a great feeling of being welcome. Painting has always been something that I have enjoyed. I worked full time at a paint store in Toronto for many years and am proud to bring such detailed knowledge of products to the customers we work with. I enjoy seeing and being a part of every transformation that Brothers’ Painting is a part of in people’s homes.
